Submission, Proceedings & Special Issues

Two types of contributions will be considered at FWSCC2021: 

  • Short paper: a paper of 3-5 pages with clear statements of the research area and the purpose, including a brief description of the undertaken methodology and a short anticipation of the expected results; 
  • Full paper: a full paper of 6-10 pages encompassing Introduction, Literature review, Methodology, Results, Discussion and Conclusions.

 

All the abstracts of the contributions accepted and presented at FWSCC2021 will be collected within a Book of Abstracts (ISBN released). 

Authors may opt for the publication of their paper(s) or ext. abstract(s) in the Conference Proceedings (available as open-access at the online University of Bologna Act Repository - AMS Acta https://amsacta.unibo.it/) (DOI released per each contribution).

In addition, authors will be encouraged to extend their work and submit it to Special Issues of relevant international journals indexed by Scopus and by Thomson Reuters shortly after the Conference: ‘Journal of Food Engineering’ (ELSEVIER), 'Journal of Cleaner Production' (ELSEVIER) or 'Sustainability' (MDPI - open access at reduced fee: 100% off for the best 2 papers, 50% off for others selected). Once submitted to the Special Issues, papers will receive a regular peer-review managed and supervised by the Journals' Editors and the Guest Editors.

 

A multidisciplinary Scientific Committee of internationally renowned academics will safeguard high quality of accepted papers.
