Due to the latest developments in the Covid-19 pandemic in Italy, we have decided to cancel the conference, which had been planned as a in-presence event.

The conference will be replaced by an online event to be announced very soon.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

All fees will be reimbursed.

The EYLBID conference on Child Language Brokering represents a unique forum to exchange ideas, broaden the scope of CLB studies and create new academic networks, hence we aim to hold the conference as a mainly in-presence event. Should the pandemic situation not allow it, we will switch to an online event.

The EYLBID conference on Child Language Brokering will be organized by the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna (Italy) at the Bertinoro University Residential Centre

The project “Empowering Young Language Brokers for Inclusion in Diversity”, EYLBID, is funded by the European Comission and coordinated by the MIRAS research group of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (GA no. 019-1-ES01-KA201-064417).

This Project is a strategic partnership of 5 higher education institutions and one social enterprise and focuses on one of the European horizontal priorities: social inclusion. Particularly, it focuses on linguistic and intercultural mediation and interpreting performed by teenagers.
