Jemina Napier

Professor at Heriot-Watt University

Professor Jemina Napier is Head of the Department of Languages & Intercultural Studies and Chair of Intercultural Communication at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh). She obtained her PhD in Linguistics from the Macquarie University in Sydney. Her main research interest is sign language interpreting (and Child Language Brokering), but her wider interests include interpreter training and interpreting research methods.
