Information for Authors
The International Workshop on Human Friendly Robotics aims at bringing together academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects related to the introduction of robots into everyday life. The workshop covers a wide range of topics related to human-robot interaction, both physical and cognitive, including theories, methodologies, technologies, empirical and experimental studies.
HFR is a single-track symposium.
The review process involves the submission of manuscripts by September 22nd, 2021 Anytime on Earth (AoE).
Accept/Reject decisions will be made by October 3rd, 2021.
Authors of accepted papers for SPAR proceedings are invited to submit the camera-ready version by October 17th, 2021.
NOTICE: A selection of accepted papers will be included within a SPAR volume dedicated to the HFR 2021 event.
Submission of the manuscripts for review
We invite the submission of manuscripts (maximum 15-pages, single column, in PDF format) which should be submitted for the review process.

Manuscripts for review are due by September 22nd, 2021 via the EasyChair paper submission system.
Submission of camera-ready manuscripts
The final papers for SPAR proceeding are due by October 17th, 2021.
Authors of accepted papers have to:
- Register to the conference, by October 17th, 2021
- Submit the final PDF file, by October 17th, 2021
- Submit all the final source files, that will be requested to the selected papers with a specific email to the corresponding author/s after the end of the workshop
The maximum allowable length is 15 pages.

Instructions for presenters
Each presentation is characterized by a pre-recorded video of 15 min (max 200 MB, MP4 format) and 5 additional minutes for questions from the audience. At least one of the authors must be connected live during the presentation of its work in order to answer questions. Further instructions on the video upload procedure will be sent to each author on paper acceptance.
