A closer look at medical residency in the U.S.

<<At Mount Nittany Medical Center, we learned about the family medicine residency program and teamed with residents who see continuity patients, but we also met volunteers who work in a CVIM clinic as part of the initiatives brought up by the local community to help people who cannot afford health insurance.>> <<Of all the experiences we had at Penn State, this was one of the most moving and instructive: we had the opportunity to reflect on our vision of social justice and welfare, which has largely reaffirmed our goal, as medical students, to become doctors with the aim of helping people in need.>>
