Call for Posters

Poster submission

Posters offer the opportunity to present data and discuss them with colleagues. Posters will be displayed on free-standing boards in vertical format during the whole workshop. 

To submit a Poster enter the following information into the attached template for poster submission :

  • Presenting Author and Co-Author Information: Surname, Name, Affiliation, and e-mail address must be included for all presenters/co-authors
  • Poster Title 
  • Abstract (500-word maximum, fonts Times New Roman 12). The abstract should provide a brief overview of the work completed and include a few sentences covering each of the following: 

-      Background: theoretical background, main research questions and aims of the study

-      Methods: For experimental studies, description of the sample, experimental design (variables and control         factors) and statistical analyses. For reviews or meta-analyses, description of the materials examined.  

-      Results: summary of the main results even if preliminary (not only expected results).

-      Conclusion: implications for the work on the field as whole

-      References: max 5 references (included in the 500-word format)


An individual may be a first author on only one poster proposal. However, that individual may be a co-author/presenter on 2 poster proposals.

The Scientific Committee will not edit the poster proposal.

First author will be notified of the decision regarding poster submission within the end of September 2018. 

Posters will be displayed from the beginning to the end of the workshop and discussed during the poster session on October 10, 2018.

Deadline for poster submission: September 22, 2018.

A best poster award (€ 300) will be assigned by a Committee that will evaluate posters.
