Location
Located in the heart of the historic Palazzo Poggi complex, the Sala VIII Centenario is one of the most presigious venues of the University of Bologna. Established to commemorate the University’s 800th anniversary (1088–1888), the hall today houses the official Gonfalon of the Alma Mater, alongside unique historical artifacts. Attending an event in this distinguished setting offers the opportunity to experience the legacy of the oldest university in the Western world, surrounded by Renaissance architecture and the intellectual heritage of figures such as Giosuè Carducci.
