Venue - How to Get There

Directions: To get downtown from the Bologna Airport (BLQ, Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi), you have two options:

∙ By taxi (turn left after the main airport exit, to the taxi stand). This will take about 20 min at a cost of about €25. Most credit cards are accepted, check with the driver beforehand.

∙ By bus (Aerobus, BLQ line, turn right after the main airport exit, very frequent departures). This will take about 15 min to the Railway Station (and you can then walk from there), at a cost of €6. You must buy your ticket before boarding the bus, at the vending machines next to the bus stop. Most credit card are accepted. If there’s a long line at the taxi stand (you just arrived in Italy, after all!) the Aerobus may be a faster option.

From the Railway station, Piazza Scaravilli is at walking distance (20 minutes). Alternatively, you can go by bus (lines 27, 33 or C, about 15 minutes) or by taxi.
