Information for attending the ceremony - Humanities Area

5:30 PM Palazzo d'Accursio – Gown and cap pickup

Palazzo d’Accursio, Piazza Maggiore 6: Please present your QR code and a valid ID.

Guests will not be permitted access to the areas designated for dressing. No coat check service is available; the University assumes no responsibility for any valuables or personal belongings left unattended.

Please bring a reusable water bottle.

Starting at 6:00 PM – Guest admission

There are enough seats in Piazza Maggiore to accommodate 2 guests per graduate. Seats, located in the general admission section, will not be reserved or assigned.
The QR code sent via email must be shared with guests, as it may be requested if necessary.

By 6:15 PM - Photos

The entire event will be documented by a photographer commissioned by the University. Additionally, by 6:15 PM, you may have your photo taken in your academic gown. The photos will be available for free in the coming days.

6:30 PM - Call to form the processions

7:00 PM - Start of the ceremony

8:15 PM - Graduation announcement

Following the speeches by the guests of honor, you will be asked to stand by academic discipline, after which the Rector will recite the graduation announcement. This will be followed by the traditional tossing of the cap.
There will be no individual roll call.

No later than 8:50 PM - Return of the academic gown and cap, collection of ID documents
