Founded in the early 1960’s to manufacture dispensing machines for Polyurethane foams, Cannon has soon reached – and maintained – the leading position in its market and extended its field of activities to other fast-growing sectors of the industry.
Diversifying into synergistic fields – within and outside the plastics processing technologies – Cannon offers today a wide series of products and services to the industrial manufacturers: in addition to a complete range of plants and machines for continuous and discontinuous processing of polyurethanes and other polymers obtained by chemical reaction (manufactured in Europe, USA, China and Japan) the Group supplies equipment for thermoforming, composite materials, aluminium die-casting, industrial electronic controls, industrial boilers, thermal fluid heaters, water treatment plants and solutions for the protection of the environment.
Cannon accepts the challenge launched by Industry 4.0, doing it through innovative projects, whose main aim is the transformation of production into something really flexible and adaptable to different market demands.
5% of the annual turn over is the amount that Cannon invest in R&D every year, distributed on different business lines involving more than 50 people in the world.

As part of the process of continuous innovation of our plants and technologies with a view to Industry 4.0, we are seeking a brilliant graduate in computer science with a strong passion for technological innovation applied to the world of Smart Factories. The resource will be included in a professional path aimed at developing a platform project in AWS environment (Amazon Web Services), defining the architecture in cloud environment. The resource will also participate in the development and design of control solutions in real-time environment and Linux environment.
Technical Skills:
- Degree in computer science, either bachelor or master degree
- Programming languages: C / C++ / C#
- Experience in Linux programming Web applications: Java Script / HTML 5 / CSS and others (Python)
- Database management: SQL, NOSQL
Soft Skills:
- Creativity, initiative and ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of Italian (written and oral) and English language
- SALES - ASIAN MARKET FOCUS (Chinese language skills)
Technical Skills:
To be included in our technical and commercial structure with operational independence in the management of our Asian customers. Receive inquiries, identify our customer needs, create a shared technical solution, rate and finalize a commercial negotiation.

- SOFTWARE COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Technical Skills:
The Software Commissioning Engineer develops, tests and commissions software solutions for automated industrial equipment, focusing especially on Programmable Automation Controller and fieldbus applications. Our R&D teams continue researching and developing key technologies, producing innovative products in Industrial automation, renewable and sustainable energy, thermal power plants and water treatment facilities.
