  • INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

The automatic operating machine in its progressive development requires resilience to the intrusion of the “disruptive concept of Industry 4.0”.
Company Manz has identified a path based on the continuous transformation of the art-technique of its systems and automations based on modular archetypes as a guiding tool in the design development and industrialization of industrial automations.

The graduating student working within our Engineering Dept. with the support of  our Sales and Marketing Offices, starting from the acquisition of the current and consolidated  engineering design methods,  structured in groups and sub-groups including the main mechanical and electronic components,  analyzes them  and with the other components of his team identifies paths to apply architectural modularity concepts  (mechanical and electronic) aimed at optimizing the development time of engineering and design activities,  also optimizing the reuse of standard structures or components.

The aim of the thesis is to verify if the skills and training acquired from a study plan in Architecture can contribute, by joining a team of mechanical and electronic engineers, to the innovation of development processes in the field of Industrial Automation.

Horizontal skills:
Power of persuasion, ability to cope with pressure while working
Strongly result-oriented, must be able to work by himself and act as a team worker in international contexts Great verbal and written skills in English (German is a plus but is not mandatory)
Good skills in planning, organization and problem solving
