Workshop registration: "Public speaking and other soft skills"

The workshop is reserved to students of Second Cycle Master Degree CLAMBAS and First Cycle Degree CLAME (only 3rd year)

The workshop is quite dynamic and draws inspiration from various disciplines such as singing, drama and evolutionary psychology. Structured on a series of very fast-paced interrelated exercises that require active participation, the work forces students to interact through play.

The inclusion of voice training is a distinctive feature, focusing on the power of effective communication. This is complemented with exercises focused on awareness of nonverbal communication. Through targeted exercises, students learn to express their thoughts confidently in front of a larger or smaller audience, an essential skill not only in interviews and presentations, but also in everyday interactions.

The theatrical component adds a creative and collaborative dimension, promoting teamwork, listening, adaptability to unexpected challenges, and the ability to think quickly, qualities highly valued and essential in today's dynamic work environments.

The workshop culminates with a challenge in which students are asked to apply some of the newly acquired skills, such as empathy and active listening, to innovate a product.

In addition to the immediate benefits in terms of employability, these workshops leave a lasting imprint on students' lives. Indeed, the skills acquired extend beyond the classroom, enriching personal and social interactions. The ability to communicate effectively, collaborate and understand human behaviour become valuable resources in any context.
