The Forum will bring together scholars and researchers from Italy, the United States, and Japan, with the aim of exploring sustainability in its broadest sense through interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration.

Ten partner institutions have been invited to participate: six from the United States (Berkeley, Brown, Davis, Irvine, Rice, San Diego) and four from Japan (Ritsumeikan, Science Tokyo, Tsukuba, Waseda), alongside the University of Bologna. Each participating institution conducts excellent research on sustainability, covering diverse fields – from environmental and engineering sciences to international affairs, from global health to cultural heritage, from economics to urban planning.
