Luis BIOLCHI
Technician at the Marine and Coastal Numerical Forecasting Unit of the Hydro Meteo and Climate Service of the Regional Agency for Prevention, Environment and Energy of Emilia-Romagna (Arpae-SIMC)
Luis graduated in Oceanography from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) and completed a masters in Marine Geology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Moreover, he is an ex-WACOMA (UNIBO, UCA, UAlg) fellow having graduated in 2020. He has experience with wave, ocean, and morphodynamic modelling and he is currently working on European Interreg Italy-Croatia projects involving climate change in the Adriatic Sea, marine and coastal forecasting, and the testing and implementation of a variety of ocean related models at different spatio-temporal scales.
