European Drug Utilization Research Group Conference 2023 - Sustainability of drug use: equity and innovation

Scientific meeting with educational courses for researchers, policy makers from academia, healthcare professionals, PhD students and all who are interested in safe and rational drug use.

Keynote sessions:

• equitable and sustainable use of medicines,
• unmet clinical needs and target population for innovative medicines,
• patient perspectives on drug utilisation,
• Covid-19 and drug utilization - learnings from the pandemic.

Workshops/Symposiums/Thematic sessions:

• eHealth, digitalization and DUR,
• introduction of new medicines,
• cross-national comparisons,
• adherence and digital technologies,
• multimorbidity, polypharmacy and deprescribing.

Basic and/or advanced level educational sessions for several topics, such as introduction to DUR, study designs and methods, statistics, QIs, visualisation of DU data, monitoring rational drug use.
Oral presentation of submitted abstracts and interactive poster walks.

As part of the EuroDURG pre-conference courses, the ENABLE Adherence project (www.enableadherence.eu) is organizing a hybrid 3-day Training School on Digital technologies for medication adherence.
