Venue and directions

The venue of the workshop is the Palazzone di Cortona, a renaissance palace located at a 15 minute walking distance from the ancient town of Cortona. 

The activities will take place in the room "Sala Papacello". The room is equipped with a video projector and a blackboard.

A Google Meet connection will be available at the web address.

By flight:

The most convenient airports are:

- Aeroporto di Firenze

- Aeroporto di Roma Fiumicino

- Aeroporto di Roma Ciampino

From there, reach the closest train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella if flying to Firenze, Roma Termini if flying to Roma), and check the suggestions below.

You can also fly to Bologna or Pisa. In this case, take a train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella, and continue from there.

By train:

The nearest train station is Camucia-Cortona. For tickets, go to https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html

From the Camucia-Cortona train station to Palazzone, take a cab to the Palazzone di Cortona or a bus to Cortona (10-15 minutes).

By bus:

From Camucia to Cortona, two options available:

- Line SU5 (from Monday to Saturday) to V.Le C. Battisti Di Fronte. Time table here. From here, walk to: Palazzone (15 min), Hotel Santa Margherita (1 min).

- Line SU4 to Cortona Piazza Mercato. Time table here. From here walk to: Palazzone (25 min), Hotel Santa Margherita (10 min).
