How to reach Rimini and the Conference Venue
By Plane:
The nearest major international airport is Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ), which is located about 120 km northwest from Rimini. From the airport, the Marconi Express (also known as "People Mover") provides a direct 7 min connection to "Bologna Centrale" railway station (Tickets can be bought on site). From there, frequent direct trains to Rimini run throughout the day, with a travel time of about 50–70 minutes depending on the train type.
Smaller regional airports, such as the Rimini Federico Fellini International Airport (RMI) and the Ancona Falconara Airport (AOI), also serve the region, offering however limited seasonal and domestic flights.
By Train:
Rimini is well connected by Italy’s national railway network (Trenitalia and Italo).
From Bologna Centrale: about 1 hour by high-speed or regional train.
From Milan: around 2.5–3 hours.
From Florence: about 2 hours.
From Rome: approximately 3.5–4 hours by direct train.
The Rimini railway station is located in the city center, just a short walk or taxi ride the seaside conference venue.
