It is our great pleasure to announce the first workshop WASTE-ENERGY-WATER NEXUS: MATERIALS & PROCESSES (WEW)” .
This WEW Meeting is a trilateral Italy-China-South Africa (ICS) workshop, building strongly on the foundation of the two ongoing bilateral projects between Italy and China (GREENHYDCM | project), and between Italy and South Africa (https://site.unibo.it/rely/en). Both projects are supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
We look forward to making the first edition of WEW-ICS25 a great success with your participation. Our aim is to bring together, at Rimini the 15th of July 2025 and Marina di Ravenna (Ravenna) the 16th of July 2025, leading international experts, alongside students, young researchers, and engineers from various backgrounds, all united by a common interest in innovative solutions for a greener future.

Oral and poster presentations will be held exclusively in person. Online participation is available to attend seminars in streaming mode.
Registration is free of charge but it is mandatory for both in-person and online participation.
Due to the limited number of spots available, we can only accommodate 50 in-person participants, so we encourage you to submit your contribution as soon as possible.
