Bachelier Conference

The 13th Bachelier World Congress of the Bachelier Finance Society will be held in Bologna, Italy, from 29 June to 3 July 2026, hosted by the University of Bologna. The congress will bring together academics, practitioners, and researchers in Quantitative Finance, offering a platform for the exchange of ideas and the discussion of recent advances in financial mathematics.

 For this 13th edition, special focus will be given to key emerging topics such as Sustainable FinanceEnergy and Climate RiskMachine Learning in Finance, and Market Design for the Green Transition.

The scientific program will feature a distinguished lineup of international plenary speakers, complemented by the participation of experts from financial institutions and young researchers working in areas such as Market MicrostructureVolatility and Liquidity ModelingCredit and Insurance RiskAlgorithmic Trading, and Mean-Field and Agent-Based Models.

The congress is being organized by the University of Bologna, founded in 1088, and recognized as the oldest university in continuous operation in the world.
