Industrial tour

The last Conference day (June 23, 2023) brings Participants into the excellence of modern production and outstanding industrial world, bridging theory to practice, knowledge to action.

The CARV-MCPC 2023 Industrial Tour will visit two international players having their operative plants in the Bologna area.

Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. (PMMTB) – Institute for Manufacturing Competencies (IMC)

PMMTB is much more than a leading company. It was and still is a long-term investment for Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna region attracting excellences and developing competences in manufacturing. The guided tour at the PMMTB plant will explore products, the full processes and how innovation becomes daily practice.

Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A.

Ducati is a worldwide top player in the motorcycle sector and the iconic brand of Borgo Panigale (from the Bologna neighbourhood’s name). The guided tour will enter in the hearth of production, where the riders’ dreams become reality. A free visit to the Ducati Museum completes this unique experience.
