He currently serves as a Policy Officer at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research, specifically in the unit focused on the ERA, Spreading Excellence, and Research Careers.
His key responsibilities include advancing the European labor market for researchers, notably through the development of the RESAVER pan-European occupational pension fund and EURAXESS. Additionally, he is involved in several initiatives related to tackling foreign interference in R&I and is responsible for developments related to the Freedom of Scientific Research and other initiatives such as EU TalentOn.
His previous roles include Product Manager at AXA, where he led new employee benefit product development, and Business Manager at ADNEOM, managing engineering projects in green energy. He holds a Master's degree in Business Engineering from the University of Antwerp and has also studied in China.
