Daniele Livon
Director of the National Agency for The Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes - ANVUR
He is the Director of the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR) since June 2019. ANVUR is the Italian agency overseeing the national public system for evaluating the quality of universities and research institutions.
Director Livon holds a master’s degree in Economics and Commerce and has completed a second-level university Master's in Public Management.
At ANVUR, he coordinates the agency's management activities in relation to the procedures for evaluating the quality of teaching and research according to the guidelines expressed by the Governing Board.
He also oversees the preparation of the Report on the Italian Higher Education and Research System, which is prepared every two years.
Prior to assuming the role of Director of ANVUR, he served for eight years as the Director General at the Ministry of Education, University, and Research. In this capacity, he played a key role in coordinating the implementation of ministerial measures to initiate the implementation of Law 240/2010 reforming the university system.
Previously, he held the position of Administrative Director at the University of Udine for seven years.
