Stanisław Kistryn

He is a physicist, specialized in experimental nuclear physics, co-author of over 200 refereed scientific papers. Rector's Proxy for Cooperation within Una Europa, Vice-Chair of the Central Council for Science and Higher Education and coordinator of the Polish National Chapter of CoARA.
Former (2012-2020) Vice-Rector for Research and Structural Funds at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, responsible also for international relations sector.
Member of committees and expert groups including the Committee for the Evaluation of Scientific Units, the Team for the Evaluation of Scientific Journals and the Group for Determining Algorithms of Financing Research Institutions, associated with the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Expert in evaluating research projects within NuPNET programme for Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Kingdom of Spain.
He is representing Jagiellonian University in The Guild of European Research Intensive Universities (where he served as a first term Board Member / Treasurer), and since 2019 acts as Treasurer in the Board of Directors of the European University Alliance Una Europa.
