Venue

The conference will take place in the Teaching Complex in via B. Andreatta, 8, Bologna Italy.

Topics

Following the tradition of the Prague Conference Series, we welcome researchers from around the Globe covering all aspects and varieties of experimental studies, techniques, methods, and theories in high-resolution molecular spectroscopy. Scientific contributions should consider, but are not limited to the following fields:

• Observation, measurement, and analysis of high-resolution rotational, vibrational, or electronic spectra of molecules (radicals, ions, complexes, clusters, ...) in the gas phase or in matrices.
• Experimental techniques in molecular spectroscopy.
• Theory assisting the prediction, simulation, and interpretation of spectra.
• Applications in related fields such as the physics and chemistry of the atmospheres of planets and cool stars, the physics and chemistry of the interstellar medium, chemical kinetics, biologically important molecules in the gas phase or in matrices, combustion, cold molecules, metrology, etc.

Both oral and poster contributions are welcome, but we encourage the participants, especially students, to submit their contributions as oral presentations. The program will be arranged to accommodate all oral contributions. Prizes for the best oral presentations given by students are also foreseen.

Social programme

During the conference on the 4^th of September 2024 there will be a chamber music concert followed by the banquet.

A few other activities for both the attendees and the accompanying persons are intended to be organized on the 5^th of September in the afternoon. Details will be presented at the time of the conference. No dedicated program for accompanying persons will be organized as there are numerous activities organized and offered by the Bologna tourist office.
