Abstract Guidelines and Submission

Thank you for your interest in the IAG Scientific Assembly 2025 that will take place in Rimini (Italy), September 1-5, 2025.

To submit your abstract, please, follow the guidelines you will find below.

 Abstracts can be submitted any time until the deadline March 15 2025 through the EasyChair abstract submission system. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted. Therefore, they will not be included in the scientific program. The acceptance/rejection of the abstract will be announced to the authors via e-mail by end of April 2025.

The abstract submission procedure requires the completion by the first author, or by one of the co-authors, of the IAG2025 online registration before the early-bird registration deadline on May 31, 2025. If no registration has been received by that date the abstract will not be included in the IAG2025 program.

Please note that a non-refundable abstract processing fee (APC) of 40 Euros is applied each abstract submission.

To submit your, please, use the EasyChair online service.

Authors shall create an account, if not already EasyChair users. The system allows authors to upload the abstract and check on the review status of their submission.

A direct link to the payment and a contribution ID number will be provided by email. Please, note that this ID number will be required during the APC payment procedure. The payment invoice will be returned.

No more than 2 abstracts can be submitted by the same first author.

Abstracts cannot be submitted by fax and/or email.

Abstract Preparation

 

To prepare the abstracts authors are kindly asked to use the following guidelines and template:

Abrstract Template (with instructions)

Authors are required to provide the following information:

  • Title
  • Author(s)
  • Affiliation(s)
  • Main body of abstract (100-500 words)
  • Keywords (please include 3-5 keywords)
  • Presentation preference (oral / poster)
  • Session the abstract is submitted to (check the programme and session description below)
  • Abstract document (in PDF format)

 

The Abstracts should be short and concise including the subject, the methods used, and the main results achieved.

Author’s certification

In submitting the abstract, the authors certify that:

  • They are authorized by their co-authors to submit the abstract.
  • They secure the right to reproduce any material that has already been published or copyrighted elsewhere.

  • Copyright on any abstracts is retained by the author(s).
  • Authors grant any third party the right to use the abstract freely as long as its original authors and citation details are identified.
