On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you in Bologna at the 5th International Conference on Interface Properties in Organic and Hybrid Electronics: Perspectives & Key Challenges.

IPOE's goals

In continuity with the spirit of the previous editions, IPOE will focus on the physical phenomena that occur at organic/organic, organic/inorganic, and organic/metal interfaces. These interfacial processes play a crucial role in numerous (bio-)physico-chemical mechanisms, spanning from solar energy conversion to biosensing.
The conference aims to encompass a broad spectrum of topics throughout experimental and theoretical investigations.

TOPICS

  • Charge trapping and transport mechanisms
  • Charge separation and generation mechanisms
  • Solar energy conversion
  • Energy transfer processes
  • Molecular spintronics
  • Materials for interface engineering
  • Organic and Hybrid sensors and devices
  • Interfacial versus bulk properties
  • 2D materials, perovskites and MOFs
  • Hybrid, organic and inorganic interfaces
  • Molecular modelling and theoretical models
  • Metal/organic interfaces
