Practicalities and technicalities

Presentations

The scheduled presentations will take place in person, and the convenors will provide the specific timing for speakers and Q&A depending on the panel arrangement.

We encourage the speakers to share in advance the presentation by email with the convenors in ppt or pdf formats, so that the convenors can upload the file in the computer available in the room. Please keep in mind that the rooms equipment cannot be connected to personal laptops.

WI-FI

In order to use the WI-FI, you could either connect via EduRoam at UniBo or request a conference Wi-Fi access directly when checking in at the reception, upon presentation of your ID

Certificate of Attendance

If you need a certificate of attendance, please make sure to ask for it at the reception desk.

Lunch Breaks

 

Upon registration you'll be given 2 tickets indicating the lunch box selection you made at registration (e.g., Vegan, Vegetarian, Special etc.) for the first two days of the conference.

Please present your ticket at the catering distribution point to receive your lunch box. Kindly note that changes to your selection cannot be accommodated.

Please always keep your ticket with you, as the catering service is only authorized to distribute lunch boxes to participants with a valid ticket. In the event of losing your ticket, please approach our volunteers for assistance.

After collecting your lunch box, feel free to enjoy it in either Parco del Cavaticcio or Parco 11 Settembre as indicated from the green dots on the map.

We kindly ask for your assistance in maintaining the cleanliness of the conference venue by disposing of any lunch-related garbage at the designated recycling points.

Personal belonging

As the conference venue is a public space, the Conference Organizers and the University of Bologna are not liable for lost, stolen or damaged belongings. Don't leave your personal belongings unattended, as the panel rooms will not be locked. Please make sure to have your badge visible when in the conference premises.
